Bolton Wanderers youngster Ricky Shakes has finally completed his protracted move to League Two side Bristol Rovers.

Shakes will move to the South West on an initial month's loan to ease what has become a massive injury crisis at the Memorial Stadium leaving Pirates boss Ian Atkins with just 11 senior professionals to choose from.

The Trinidad & Tobago international is looking forward to his stint in the West Country and could make his debut in tonight's LDV Vans trophy clash with Southend United.

"I hope to be able to show the fans what I can do, if I'm selected to play, I want to play first team football, and hopefully I'll get that here.

"I'm looking forward to enjoying the experience down here at Bristol Rovers, and if I can make a difference while I'm here as well as learn something, then I'll be happy." said Shakes
