Communicaciones striker Dwight Pezzarossi has completed a loan move to Bolton Wanderers until the end of the season and in doing so will be the first Guatemalan player to play in the English Premiership.

The 24-year old has been on trial with the Wanderers for the past week in a bid to make a return to European football and manager Sam Allardyce has obviously been impressed by the attitude of the player who spent some time previously with Racing club de Ferrol in Spain as well as spells in both Argentina and Chile.

Pezzarossi holds an Italian passport so will not need to have a work permit and could feature in next week's Premiership clash with Liverpool at the Reebok Stadium.

The player was delighted to have finally sealed his switch to England and was excited at the prospect of joining up with his new team, eager to make the most of his new opportunity.

"I am simply happy to be here,It is very nice for me and a great step for me, to play here can only be a good thing. It's good for me to be playing in The Premiership and maybe also the Carling Cup final. For now I just want to concentrate on doing well in training and showing what I can do. I hope I will get my chance and then we will see how things go from there." Pezzarossi told SKYSports.com
