Henrik Pedersen is hoping that his recent run of goalscoring for Bolton Wanderers will force his inclusion into the Denmark squad for this summer's European Championships in Portugal.

The 28-year old former Silkeborg player has netted four goals in the last five games which has taken his overall total to nine for the season and admits a return to the international fold to add to his four caps would be most welcome.

"It is every player's dream to play in a major championship and I am no different, Whether I will get the chance, I don't know, but it won't do me any harm getting goals in the Premiership." he said

Pedersen has been in fine form of late mirroring the kind of performances which made him such a crucial figure in the Bolton team over the Christmas period earlier on in the season and his partnership with fellow striker Kevin Davies seems to be working well, in terms of goalscoring this is the best season for the player since his move to England three years ago and good form for Pedersen is good news for Wanderers.
