Not Given Fair Deal
Former Liverpool striker John Aldridge has taken a swipe at Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce following his treatment of Reds youngster Jon Otsemobor during his brief loan stint at the Reebok Stadium.

Aldridge beleives that the Trotters boss did not keep his promise to the young defender of regular first team action with Otsemobor making just one appearance in six weeks during his time with Bolton resulting in the England U20 international returning to Anfield early to see out the rest of the current season in the reserves. Something which Aldridge beleives is a huge disappointment to the full back.

"I think Jon has every right to feel aggrieved, He went to the Reebok after being told he would be given valuable Premiership experience by Sam Allardyce.

"But more than two months on he has returned after being told there is little chance of him getting a game.

"It is a poor way to treat a promising and talented youngster who is highly regarded at Liverpool. At a time in his career when he needs to be gaining experience and confidence, Jon has been let down."
