Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce will be able to select new signing Jon Otsemobor for the weekend clash against Liverpool after the Reds failed to put a clause in the defenders contract to say otherwise.

The 20-year old joined the Trotters on Monday from the Merseysiders shortly before the transfer window closed and if selected Otsemobor will come up against the club he is on loan from.

Otsemobor will not be the first player loaned out by Liverpool to face the Reds. Markus Babbel, currently on loan to neighbours Blackburn Rovers also faced the Gerard Houllier's team in two games earlier in the season.

Meanwhile striker Dwight Pezzarossi has received international clearence for his move to Bolton and is also in contention for the weekend clash. The Guatemalan international signed on loan from Communicaciones last week.
