One Out, One In At Bolton

Jardel Could Be On His Way Out?
As one Brazilian looks likely to be entering Bolton Wanderers another looks like he could be departing as Mario Jardel is being tipped to move back to South America with Sao Paulo.

Jardel joined Wanderers last summer from Sporting Lisbon but failed to settle in Lancashire making just a handful of appearances from the substitutes bench before being farmed out to Italian strugglers Ancona in a loan deal in January, a move which has also turned sour after the player went AWOL within a matter of weeks of moving over to Serie A.

The 30-year old has had a torrid time both on and off the pitch over the last 18 months, a number of personal problems ended what was a successful spell in Lisbon and his move to England was seen as a fresh start but apart from a contribution in the early rounds of the Carling Cup it is fair to say that Bolton did not get to see the best of Mario Jardel.

The former Golden Boot winner is said to be willing to take a wage cut so he can move back over to his native country and spend more time with his young family and it is said that Wanderers are willing to release the player to allow him to make the move.

"I want to play for Sao Paulo because my children are more important than the money," he said
