Oman Keeper Wants England Move

Ali Al-Habsi is being tracked by Bolton and Manchester City with the Trotters reportedly the keener of the two clubs. Bolton had two bids turned down last season for the Oman stopper and speculation has increased over summer with the player himself making it clear he wishes to move from his current club in Norway.

"I hope I get to go to England soon, considering my career," Al-Habsi told VG.

"At the same time, it will be tough to go. I have had three good years at Lyn and that has made me what I am today.

"I can sit on the bench for a couple of months, but long-term I need to play football."

Al-Habsi, 23, would likely to be back-up to current number one Jussi Jaaskelainen as Sam Allardyce continues his search to replace veteran Kevin Poole.
