Aston Villa manager David O'Leary has said that his side must keep a firm eye on former World Cup winner Youri Djorkaeff during Tuesday night's Carling Cup Semi Final second leg tie as they look to try and pull back a three goal defacit at Villa Park.

O'Leary beleives the veteran Bolton star will cause his side some problems and is all to aware of the dangers that the former Inter Milan and Kaiserslautern player poses.

The 35-year old played a key part in Wanderers First Leg 5-2 success against the Midlands side which has left them with one foot in the door of the Carling Cup Final and O'Leary was quick to praise the class of the much travelled Frenchman.

"Djorkaeff has been a very talented player for many years with big clubs and he has done a great job for the French team"

"He is a player that managers want to have in their team and you know that you can put him into different positions and he will do a good job for you. He has been a world class player for a long time."
