Jay-Jay Okocha will sort out his future at Bolton at the end of the season and not before.

Okocha insists he is in no hurry to leave the Reebok Stadium but would like to get his hands on some silverware.

Okocha said: "I have told the manager I want to see the season out and then make a decision on my future.

"With my contract coming to an end it would be fitting if I could finish this season by winning a trophy.

"The manager says that a domestic trophy is not beyond us and with a bit of luck and some decent performances I believe Bolton can do that."

He said: "With the time I have spent on the sidelines this season it is fair to say I have been struggling for consistency.

"It is my intention to get back in the side and stay there. I want to help Bolton in as many games as possible and to get as far as we can in all competitions.

"The club has made great strides in recent years and I have been very proud to have been one of the catalysts."

"Life is all about taking the opportunities that will finally make dreams become reality, " he said. "The squad has the experience and the quality to create modern history here."
