Obadeyi has spent time on loan at Swindon, Rochdale and Shrewsbury since making three substitute appearances for Wanderers in the 2008-09 season and, having been handed a new deal by manager Owen Coyle, is now hoping to see more first-team action at the Reebok Stadium.

The 21-year-old told Bolton's website: "I'm happy to have signed for another year. I felt like I was playing well for the reserves towards the end of last season and now I've got to kick on.

"I've been here since I was 16 and now hopefully I can force my way into the manager's plans because he's shown faith in me offering me another year."
