Nolan Welcomes Dubai Break

Bolton Wanderers leading goalscorer Kevin Nolan has said that the week long break in Dubai has come at the right time for the players having played nearly 20 games in two months.

The 21-year old midfielder has been in fine form for the Trotters this season but admits that the trip to the Emirates country will do the players the power of good bringing them back to freshness for their home "derby" clash with Manchester City next weekend.

The squad and backroom staff jetted off immediately following the midweek draw with Leicester City for a six day break which will include a training camp. Nolan said that the players will benefit from the trip despite having been knocked out of the FA Cup by Tranmere Rovers last month.

"We need this break. Even though we didn't want to go out of the FA Cup, it might have been for the best. We've played all these games and it's a big ask for the lads. I've got to be honest, I'm starting to feel little knocks now. I'm looking forward to this break and coming back fresh for the Manchester City game."
