Rovers boss Sam Allardyce signed the powerful forward for Bolton in 2003 and reports suggest Davies is now a target for the Ewood Park club, with an offer of £5million being mooted during the summer transfer window.

Sky Sports are reporting that they believe no offer has been made, and so far neither club have made comment on the rumours.
