No Cheap Sales For Allardyce

Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce is shocked not to have had more enquiries for the seven players that he has made available for transfer this week.

Allardyce beleives that other clubs will wait until the end of the transfer window to try and get his players on the cheap, but he is adament that they will only leave if the offer is within what Bolton have asked.

"I am surprised I haven't had more calls about the players who have been made available. Perhaps people think the players will become cheaper towards the end of the window when I need funds my myself but I can assure them it is not going to happen like that."

On the incoming front Allardyce has been busy negotiating with agents, but as of yet no deals have progressed to an advanced stage leaving the Bolton manager with just two weeks in which to wheel and deal.

"It is a busy time and I have had 32 agents calling on my mobile with players who are available but I can't say we're near anything at the moment."
