Birmingham City striker Clinton Morrison has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association after his clash with Bolton Wanderers defender Nicky Hunt.

The Republic of Ireland star appeared to shove Hunt to the ground during the Premiership meeting between the two sides on Tuesday evening and could face a one match ban.

Referee Uriah Rennie admitted to missing the incident which flared up following a challenge between Blues forward Emile Heskey and the Bolton centre half Bruno N'Gotty.
