Premiership duo Bolton Wanderers and Fulham have been linked with a move for FC Nantes striker Viorel Moldovan who will be out of contract in the summer with the French club

The 31-year old Romanian is said to have options to return to England where he had a short spell with Coventry City back in the 1997-1998 season but says that his priority at the moment is to try and sort out a deal with the Canaries for whom he rejoined earlier in the season after a short spell in the Far-East.

"Nantes is my priority. But we have not started to talk yet. Moreover my agent also has contact with other clubs, notably in Italy and in England. At Nantes I would prefer a two-year contract extension."

The front man has also seen service in Switzerland with Grasshoppers and in Turkey with Fenerbache as well as serving in his homeland with the clubs Neuchatal Xamax, Dynamo Bucharest and Gloria Bistrita. He is a full Romanian international with over 40 caps for his country and has taken part in the World Cup and European Championships.
