Paul Sergeant, the General Manager of the Millennium Stadium praised both Bolton Wanderers and Middlesbrough supporters for their behaviour during yesterday's League Cup Final clash.

No arrests where made during the day in Cardiff and Sergeant was quick to praise both clubs for their exemplary behaviour yesterday for the final in which Middlesbrough won by two goals to one.

"For the first time at a major cup final staged at the Millennium Stadium we where able to report no arrests relating to football fans and no ejections from the ground. That is an enormous credit to the fans of both sides who came to Cardiff to enjoy what many people are calling the greatest cup final staged at the Millennium Stadium"

"I would therefore like to thank and congratulate both the supporters of Middlesbrough and Bolton Wanderers for their exemplary behaviour and I hope they enjoyed their experience in the heart of the Welsh capital - they were a credit to the game and to their clubs"
