The Senegal international was due to take part in the Carling Cup tie on Wednesday evening but fainted during the warm up. The medical staff decided it would be best for the African to spend the night in hospital as a precautionary measure.
Fadiga will undergo medical tests just to make sure that his health and fitness is okay and hopefully will be back in contention for the weekend game with Newcastle United.
