Midfielder Departs On Loan

Bolton midfielder Blessing Kaku has joined Championship side Derby County on a months loan with the possibility of a permanent transfer should he impress.

The 26-year old has only been with Wanderers for four months but has so far been unable to establish himself in Sam Allardyce's first team plans having made just one substitute appearance in the Premiership since his move from Ashdod FC earlier on in the season.

Kaku is a full Nigerian international with experience of playing in both Belgium and Israel and the Rams Director of Football Murdo MacKay says that Derby have been tracking the midfield ace for quite some time.

"We've been monitoring him for a little while, I've watched him training and he certainly looks the part. If he does well, and if he's happy and we're happy with him, we may look to extend it." Mackay told the BBC
