Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has spoken of his delight about drawing holders Liverpool in the next round of the Carling Cup and is looking forward to visiting Anfield for the December clash.

"This is a great draw for us, we wanted a big club in the 4th round and you dont get much bigger than Liverpool. We can go to Anfield with confidence and hope that we can advance into the Quarter Finals" Allardyce said

"It will be a tough match, Liverpool have a wealth of talent at their disposal and you can't forget that they are cup holders. It will be a major acomplisment if we can go there and win"

Allardyce was also looking forward to his side playing at Anfield, a ground which he describes as being special due to the Merseysiders proud cup traditions.

"Anfield is a great place to play football and night matches on the famous old ground are always a bit special"

However Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier and midfielder Danny Murphy where releived to draw "a small club" and stay away from the "big boys" still left in the competition. Ironic really when you consider both wheren't involved the last time the two clubs met in the competition, in the 1995 final!!!.
