Bolton Wanderers defender Danny Livesey has extended his loan spell with Third Division Rochdale until the end of the season after impressing during his time at Spotland.

The 19-year old defender has made eight appearances during his time with Dale and manager Steve Parkin is happy that the Salford-born youngster has agreed to stay and help the club fight to preserve their Football League status.

"We're very happy he wanted to stay until the end of the season, He has done well since he arrived and he's a good person to have around the place." Parkin said

Livesey, who also spent time on loan at Notts County this season has an option in his contract which says he can be recalled should Bolton suffer an injury crisis to their defence.
