Little Linked With Bolton Return

Glen Little - returning to Bolton?
Bolton Wanderers are being linked with a move to bring Burnley winger Glen Little back to the Reebok Stadium this summer.

Little spent two months on loan with the Trotters earlier on this season making four Premiership appearances from the substitutes bench but was recalled by Burnley early following an injury crisis which had depleted the Turf Moor ranks.

Reports this morning have suggested that Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce has renewed his interest in the player and will compete with  Newcastle United, Preston North End and Reading in a bid to secure the midfielders services when his Clarets contract expires in June.

Whether or not the Londoner is a serious target remains to be seen but Allardyce has twice previously tried to sign the player from Burnley, once during his days as manager as Notts County and once for Bolton when they where first promoted in 2001.
