Spanish left back Juanfran says that he is keen to join Bolton and is being lined up for a 12-month loan deal by manager Sam Allardyce.

The 29-year-old says that he has spoken to compatriot Ivan Campo about life at The Reebok and is hopeful of signing for Bolton soon.

"The negotiations are very advanced and I do not believe that Besiktas have many problems," said Juanfran.

"Sincerely I want the definitive transfer but the things are positive and I should soon be in England.

"The Premier League is very attractive and for me it is as good a league as in Spain.

"To play in the Uefa Cup is an excellent adventure.

"I have spoken with Ivan Campo and he wants me to make the move. That is always positive

"English football is very quick and I am physically very fit. I do not think that it will be much of a problem to adapt to the Premiership.

"I am hoping for a quick solution. If it is possible, this week."
