The game against the Latics marks a small reunion as former Wanderers players Tony Philliskirk and John Sheridan are on the Boundary Park coaching staff whilst both Dean Holden and Jermaine Johnson, once of Bolton are now regulars in Brian Talbot's team.
Bolton also face Oldham's Coca Cola League Division Two rivals Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough at the end of July in what is sure to be a busy pre-season for the Trotters.
