Georgi Kinkladze will find out after next weeks reserve team clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers whether or not he has been successful in securing a deal with Bolton Wanderers having spent the last few weeks on trial at the Reebok Stadium.

The 30-year old Georgian international has impressed the coaching staff so far having played in three consecutive second string games and First Team Coach Neil McDonald confirmed that the coaching staff will assess the players situation once the clash against the West Midlands side is completed.

"Georgi played the full game last night (against Newcastle) and is coming along nicely. He is getting fitter by the day and would like to stay here long-term.

"He will play against Wolves in the reserves next week and after that match we will probably make a decision on his future." McDonald said
