Manchester City manager Kevin Keegan has told his Bolton counterpart Sam Allardyce that he will not change his mind about leaving the City of Manchester Stadium when his contract runs out in 2006.

Former Newcastle United manager Keegan will leave his post at Eastlands next summer having completed five years in the City hot seat but Allardyce wanted the ex-England coach to review his options should City have a successful season next year in Keegan's last year as manager.

"Sam Allardyce doesn't know me. I've never had a drink with him and I've never spent 10 minutes of time with him. I would not try and predict what he's going to do because I don't know him well and I don't think Sam should predict what I'm going to do." Keegan stated

"I'm sure he meant it in a nice way, but I can assure you that I won't be staying on beyond that and people who really know me, will know that
