Nigerian midfielder Blessing Kaku is targeting a more permanent place in the Bolton midfield following his impressive debut showing at Yeovil Town on Tuesday night.

The 26-year old summer signing from Ashdod was happy with his first appearance against the Glovers but immediately expressed his desire at getting more first team opportunities - even though he knows that the side is on a high at the moment.

"It's going to be difficult because it's difficult to change a winning team and they are playing very well at the moment, but it's not going to stop me from working hard because I know my chance is going to come and when it does I will take it." he told the official site

"It feels great to put on the team jersey and to play 90 minutes. But that's not the end, I've got to keep on working to make sure I play in the league."

Kaku was also adament to make an impression during his spell in England and he believes that success on the field of play with Bolton Wanderers can only enhance his career at the top level.

"I've come here to play football. I've not come here because I just want to look how beautiful England is, I want to do my best and improve in my career."
