Jussi Wants More Support

Jussi Jaaskelainen has called for the Bolton Wanderers supporters to turn up in numbers for this weekend's FA Cup clash with Fulham at the Reebok Stadium.

Bolton are just three games away from the final and the big Finnish goalkeeper is hopeful that they can put an end to a recent dismal record against the West London side.

"It's always been hard against Fulham in the Premier League, in fact I don't think we've beaten them. It's a big game for us - four games away from Europe, Bolton have never been in Europe before so it would be an achievement if we made it. But we need the crowd behind us."

You have to go back to March 2000 to find the last Bolton win over Fulham. A brace from Dean Holdsworth and a last minute effort from Eidur Gudjohnsen gave the Trotters the points in a 3-1 victory.
