Rooney appeared to raise an arm towards the Israelian international during the first half of the Boxing Day clash between the two clubs at Old Trafford and is now facing diciplinary action if the F.A agree with the video evidence which is going to be put forward.
However young defender Ben-Haim could also face action following his reaction to the incident which saw him go down holding his face.
