Israelian international captain Tal Ben-Haim is now a fully fledged Bolton Wanderers player after receiving clearance from the Israeli Football Association to allow him to make the move to England from Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The 22-year old agreed a three-year contract with the Trotters earlier on in the week following a successful trial spell and is now ready and raring to go as he begins life away from his home country.

The club have also added Real Madrid legend Fernando Hierro to the squad in the last few days and expect Brazilian defender Julio Cesar to follow soon as Sam Allardyce's cosmopolitan squad begins to take shape.
