Bolton Wanderers have received some positive news on the injury front with Stelios Giannakopoulos and Ivan Campo both having had recovered from infections which have hampered their fitness over pre-season.

Nicky Hunt could be back in training with the first team squad within a week after x-rays showed a muscle tear in his leg rather than what was initially feared to be a broken leg in Tuesday's match with Birkirkara.

Youri Djorkaeff however still remains a doubt for the seasons opener away at Manchester United having been sent to see a specialist in France today to review the extent of the cheekbone injury sustained in scoring the second goal in Tuesday's game, however he could wear a specially designed facial mask which has proved affective for the likes of Paul Gascoigne and Trevor Sinclair in the past.

Kevin Nolan, Henrik Pedersen and Per Frandsen are all expected to play tonight against Floriana having received minor treatment for blisters over the last couple of days.
