Hierro Reveals Transfer Shock

Fernando Hierro has spoken for the first time about the shock that he felt when he was told that he was one of seven players to be put up for sale by Bolton Wanderers.

The Real Madrid legend joined Henrik Pedersen, Florent Laville, Anthony Barness, Blessing Kaku, Kevin Poole and Julio Cesar on a list of players who are to be made available.

Hierro 36, is to meet with the chairman to try and get clarification on the situation.

"I don't have the slightest idea why, It surprises me because recently I have been in the plans of the coach.

"I don't know what it's down to, but in any case I will be speaking to the chairman to see what is going on. I know that the manager wants to sign a forward, but the truth is that I was not expecting this."
