Henrik Hopes For Better Form

Bolton Wanderers striker Henrik Pedersen has expressed his concern at the Trotters recent dip in form.

The Wanderers have gone through an awful spell of late and this has seen them slip down the Premiership table. The Danish goal getter says that the club need to turn things around quickly- starting against his boyhood team Manchester City this weekend.

"I am very concerned that we need to turn things around and very quickly," he told Sky Sports.

"Hopefully on Saturday we can get the three points we need. Maybe we've lost a bit of confidence and three points at the weekend will help us all get that back. "

The 29-year old is wary of the threat that local rivals City pose and says that Bolton can ill afford to give their opponents space and time on the ball as it will be exploited by the good offensive players which the Blues have such as Shaun Wright-Phillips, Nicolas Anelka, Jon Macken and Robbie Fowler.

"The City game is definitely one where we have to play high and press them, not give them time on the ball. If you give them time on the ball they have some very good footballers who can play the ball around, so we have to be all over the pitch to prevent this."
