German Keeper On Trial

Bolton Wanderers have handed a trial to promising German goalkeeper Thomas Richter.

The 24-year old shotstopper has impressed the Bolton scouts having been in good form for SV Elversberg, and has now been handed a chance to earn a dream move to England's top flight.

Richter has also played for both Borussia Monchengladbach and FC Augsburg and stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall.

Another goalkeeper seems to be high on the list of priorities for the Trotters, despite the fact that they have Jussi Jaaskelainen, Andy Oakes and Kevin Poole on their books at the moment.

Canadian Greg Sutton and the Alaves custodian Juan Pablo Colinas have also been put through their paces by the Wanderers in recent weeks.
