Coyle has been linked with a move for Wade Elliott, who he managed last season at Burnley, and Gartside insists club owner Eddie Davies will provide the financial backing the manager needs to strengthen his squad.
"I know that Owen and his staff will have a busy summer ahead of them as they seek to put their own stamp on the club," Gartside told the Bolton News.
"We have always backed the manager in the transfer windows and it will be no different next time."
