Bolton Wanderers have resurrected their move for Fabrice Fernandes.
The move appeared to be off after Bolton chairman Phil Gartside refused to sanction the deal but Sam Allardyce has moved to bring him to The Reebok Stadium.
The player's agent Willie McKay confirmed the move was back on:
"Sam Allardyce has been on the phone to get the deal back on," McKay told skysports.com.
"Sam has been keen to sign Fabrice and he has moved to get him.
"Fabrice has agreed a two-year deal and he is looking forward to joining the club."
