Farrelly nets treble in Private Freindly

Bolton Wanderers midfielder Gareth Farrelly scored all three goals in a behind closed doors freindly against Birmingham City this afternoon that ended in a 3-3 draw.

The former Everton, Aston Villa and Republic of Ireland midfielder who was told by the Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce he has one final chance to make an impression at Bolton this season, scored twice in open play and once from the penalty spot as a Bolton Wanderers XI drew at St Andrews.

One of the hero's for Bolton in the 2001 Play Off Final, he spent time on loan with Rotherham United towards the tail end of the 2002-2003 season.
