Exits Could Fund Little Move

Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has claimed that he may have to sell players if he is to secure a permanent move for on loan Burnley winger Glen Little.

The 27-year old Londoner is currently on a months loan at the Reebok Stadium and the Wanderers manager says the former Reading player is in his plans despite not having yet played for the club due to a groin injury sustained on the eve of the Middlesbrough game last weekend which he was penciled in to play but Allardyce has admitted if a permanent move develops then some of his fringe players may have to quit the club.

"The one thing that would work for me would be to move some players out on permanent deals or on loan to bring Glen Little in dependant on whether he is better than the players who we are willing to release" Allardyce said

"I think theres a lot of Nationwide clubs who would want my players and because of the current financial crisis they will try and get them on the cheap but we would need to do some hard nosed bargaining with them, as last year proved we let eight players go so ive proved i can wheel and deal at that level" he said

An extension to the loan of winger Little depends on whether Burnley would want to keep Wanderers duo Delroy Facey and Gareth Farrelly on their books for another month and indeed if they could afford to continue to pay the wages of the players for that period.
