The 29-year old has fallen out of favour with the management at his current club Maccabi Haifa and they are said to be ready to listen to offers for the experienced winger who is in the last year of his contract.
Tal previously had a two year spell at Everton between 2000 and 2002 making 29 appearances before moving to Spain to link up with Rayo Vallecano. A move to Bolton would certainly appeal as it will enable him to join up with international team mate Tal Ben-Haim.
