Ibu could depart?
Former French international Ibrahim Ba could find himself departing Bolton Wanderers in the next few weeks unless he can prove himself in the three remaining reserve team matches.

The 30-year old joined Wanderers following a successful trial spell last summer and had his contract extended until the end of the season in the winter however manager Sam Allardyce has felt that the former AC Milan player has let his standards slip recently and says that he must improve for the rest of the season if he is to make a last ditch attempt to get into first team contention.

"I haven't felt his form has been that great recently. He's got to prove in the reserves that he's at the right level to get back into the first team." Allardyce said

Ba spent a number of years in the wilderness at Milan which included unsuccesful spells on loan to Perigua and French club Marseille. He has made nine appearances as a substitute in the Premiership for Bolton this season and was also a regular in the clubs Carling Cup line ups that reached the final. He caused a stir in January when he refused to play in the club's FA Cup tie against Tranmere Rovers only to have a change of heart after clear the air talks with Allardyce.
