Hunt looked set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after sustaining a shoulder injury in the defeat against Newcastle United last weekend whilst on-loan Diouf has been receiving treatment on an ankle problem for two weeks.
However both are progressing well and it's looking likely that they could be back for the local derby at the City of Manchester Stadium in four days from now.
