Diouf In Hot Water With Senegal

Bolton Wanderers striker El-Hadji Diouf was left out of Senegal's World Cup qualifier with Liberia over the weekend after allegedly going out to a nightclub in Dakar in the evening prior to the game.

Diouf, on loan to Bolton from Liverpool, was a late exclusion from the squad by national coach Guy Stephan despite pleas from fellow players about the over-hyped nature of the incident.

The incident is speculated to have taken place in the early hours of Saturday morning with an official quoted as saying "El Hadji Diouf was left out of the team for disciplinary reasons,".
