El-Hadji Diouf could be a permanent fixture in the Bolton Wanderers squad by the time he returns from international duty.

The Trotters loan star is close to sealing a move from Premiership rivals Liverpool on a reported four-year contract, but first he must concentrate on Senegal's World Cup qualifying game with Togo later this week.

Diouf is happy to spend his immediate future at the Reebok Stadium and has praised the backroom team for the way they have treated him during his year long spell at the club.

"You are going to be the first to know. I'm going to sign for Bolton for four years," Diouf informed L'Observateur.

"It gives me great pleasure. I am very happy to be able to play for Bolton next season,"

"I believe that I'm at a club where people have confidence in me. The coach, the doctor, everybody,"
