Brown feels that the Senegal star has put in performances of exceptional quality in recent weeks since returning from a three match suspension.
"The players on the park are looking for Dioufy now and the fans are looking for Dioufy to perform. I think in the last three or four games he's performed to the highest order.
The former Wanderers skipper added that Jay-Jay Okocha may have a rival in the popularity stakes amongst the supporters if he is to carry on performing to a high standard.
"It could be a battle between him and Jay Jay as to who's the king out there."
