Defender Deal Dead

The 30-year-old is available on a free transfer after leaving Lecce in the summer and after a week training with Wanderers, Allardyce has decided against a move.

"Stovini was training at the Club last week, but I feel he is not the player we need," Allardyce told the club's website.

"He has returned to Italy and our search moves on."
