Davies Is BoltonMAD Player Of The Season

Bolton Wanderers striker Kevin Davies claimed yet another award as the readers of the BoltonMAD website voted him as their player of the season for the 2003-2004 campaign.


Davies 27, has won numerous player of the year awards in the end of season honours after playing a starring role in Bolton's season following his move from Southampton a year ago. He was an ever present during the club's Premiership campaign in a season that included nine league goals and a goal in the Carling Cup Final defeat to Middlesbrough.

The voting was immense and 36.8% of the voters made the former England U21 player their top choice. Captain Jay-Jay Okocha came in second place as 14.6% of voters, many of them from Nigeria felt that the Super Eagles star had an impressive season whilst Spaniard Ivan Campo came in third place with 13.5% of the votes.
