Bolton Wanderers defender Anthony Barness has said that his team mates have put the disappointment of the Carling Cup Final defeat to Middlesbrough out of their minds and are now focusing on getting the right results in the Premiership.

The 30-year old former Charlton Athletic star says that everyone at the club was bitterly disappointed to lose at the Millennium Stadium says the club must now concentrate on getting things right for the rest of the season despite the defeat to Birmingham City last weekend which many blamed on the disappointment of the previous weekend in Cardiff.

"Everyone's disappointed with how things have gone - especially after losing the cup final, everybody wanted to bounce back with the Birmingham game. Sadly, it didn't work out like that " Barness told the official site

"As far as the players are concerned, individually they have put that cup final defeat out of their minds and have realised they must now get on with the rest of the season. As a club you don't know how much it will effect you. You've got to go out and get some good results in the league as soon as you can. It didn't happen against Birmingham so we have to get on with it" he added
