Clarets Continue To Monitor Facey

Burnley manager Stan Ternant has said that a deal to bring Bolton Wanderers striker Delroy Facey back to Turf Moor isnt dead and buried and said that a fresh approach could be made in January.

Facey 23, enjoyed a three month loan spell with the Clarets earlier on in the season where he netted five goals in fourteen stars during his time at the Turf but a permanent stay was prevented due to Bolton's asking price of £200,000 which was more or less the fee which was paid to Huddersfield Town just over a year earlier.

However Ternant told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph that he hopes to broker a deal with the Wanderers for the services of the young striker but admits any deal hinges on whether his Bolton counterpart Sam Allardyce can bring new faces in.

"If I could bring Delroy here, I'd certainly do that, But it's what you can afford to do and until Sam Allardyce maybe brings in a few players and they can then let a few more out, nothing looks like happening."

Meanwhile Glen Little, who spent two months on loan at the Reebok Stadium in a deal which involved both Facey and Gareth Farrelly is still yet to sign a new contract at Turf Moor and is said to be interesting Wigan Athletic who see the player as an ideal signing.
