Pedersen has reportedly attracted the interest of English Premier League clubs Bolton Wanderers, West Bromwich Albion, Everton, Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland.

The forward, 20, currently plays for Norwegian top flight club Stromsgodset and has scored 17 goals in 38 appearances for the club.

And Brattbaak reckons Pedersen should move to Parkhead if the chance arises.

Brattbaak told the Scottish Sun: "Any player who has the chance to join Celtic should grab it with both hands. It's a big opportunity and something you really can't say no to. If he [Pedersen] gets the offer to go to Celtic it shouldn't be a hard decision."

He added: "From what I've seen he's player who plays with his heart on his shirt.

"That's what the Celtic fans love and expect. He'd fit really well into the Scottish style. If you give him a chance in front of goal he'll usually take it.

"He's a young player but he's got the talent. He is strong physically, and is really quick."
