Bradford City are looking to secure the signings of former Bolton Wanderers duo Donovan Ricketts and Darren Holloway as they look to add new faces to their squad.

Ricketts 27, joined Bolton last season on loan from Jamaican club Village United and looked set to agree a permanent deal with the club but Trotters boss Sam Allardyce pulled out of the move at the last minute paving the way for the Bantams to make their move.

The giant keeper if signed will fill the void left by Alan Combe and Mark Paston who both left Valley Parade over the summer after the former Wanderers manager Colin Todd allowed them to move on due to the clubs financial problems.

Holloway looks also likely to move to Yorkshire after being released by Milton Keynes Dons (formerly Wimbledon). He spent a six week spell on loan with Bolton whilst as a Sunderland player back in the 1999-2000 season as Sam Allardyce looked to replace the departing Neil Cox who had joined Watford.
