Allardyce Facing FA Rap
Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has been charged by the Football Association for "failing to act in the best interests of the game" following his comments to referee Mike Riley during the Carling Cup Final defeat to Middlesbrough three weeks ago.

The Wanderers boss was highly critical of the Yorkshire official Riley following his decision not to award the Trotters a last minute penalty after Boro defender Ugo Ehiogu had handled a goalbound shot by Bolton substitute Stelios Giannakopoulos and his comments in the post match interview have landed him in hot water with the FA, he has a fortnight to respond to the charge in which he said he will be contesting.

"The only thing I can say is that I am disappointed that i'm on a charge and I will go and fight that charge vigourously" he said
